Sajid Khan is an Indian actor and singer who was born on 23rd November 1971. He was adopted by Mehboob Khan, the founder of Mehboob Studios and a Bollywood filmmaker, after being born into poverty in the slums of Bombay. He appeared in a few Indian movies, including his father’s Oscar-nominated Mother India (1957) and its follow-up Son of India (1962).
Later on, he saw greater success abroad, working on international productions in the UK, the Philippines, and North America, notably Maya (1966) and its television version. From the end of the 1960s to the beginning of the 1970s, he was a teen idol in North America and the Philippines.

Sajid and Wajid Khan were brothers who worked as music directors for Hindi-language Bollywood movies.
